Art, Spirituality, Metaphysics, Science, Business, and More: The Intersection of the Practical and the Esoteric

Many who visit our website undoubtedly think to themselves: "Art for sale, tarot readings, BUSINESS consulting... seems like an odd and unrelated mix. Talk about eclectic and eccentric!"... And while, yes, we are a bit unconventional, and not for the closed minded, I do believe there is a lot more to be said about our business model and why it is actually quite purposeful. The reality is, there is a lot of interconnectivity at play between these different areas.

Take art. It is an inherently subjective, whimsical, passive and often vague source of pleasure and joy for so many. It is often hard to pin down definitive value for art, hence why you see such vast ranges. It is intuitive and right-brained at its core. It encourages free-flowing creativity and abhors rules and defined structure. It is, beyond the products it produces, a force in and of itself. Both the creation and absorption of art are refined, delicate processes that are commonly understood and accepted, but ill defined by typical scientific methods. Yet we all see it's value.

Similarly intuitive and metaphysical, but much more subjective and controversial, is the power of the tarot. This simple divination tool has been used for centuries by millions with great success, however it is not the only one, nor is it particularly exclusive. As many will know, it shares history with the classic card game decks we use today, and is similar in it's structure. However, the deep detail with which it addresses archetypes and energies allow it to provide a great deal of wisdom. Key cards of universal knowledge, coded information from the etheric.

There are those, such as my former self, who will say it has no scientific backing, that it lacks substance, that it offers nothing but air. "Superstition and nonsense". But as I have grown, and learned the power of the tarot through personal experience, and the nuanced ways in which it can help guide us so acutely, I have been blown away with it's results. I gradually shifted from a skeptic at heart to someone who not only understands and connects with the tarot, but sees it as a true anchor to guides and higher knowledge.

This got me thinking, is it really so hard to believe? From a scientific perspective, we actually have a lot of new understanding in various fields, such as quantum physics, that lend themselves to new ways of understanding the universe. If it really all is folding in on itself, and time/space do not follow linear pathways, would it not make sense that we could tap into ancestors or even future selves to provide insight? Or, if you prefer a more technological viewpoint, would it not make sense that there would be ways to tap into more direct source code of the matrix? I.E., commune with "god" (lower-case and in quotes to be clear - whatever that means to YOU, not one particular god).

The reality is, the god force is within each and every one of us, and all the assets of an endless universe of possibilities exist somewhere in the quantum matrix. If you are religious, we at B+C Intuitive respect that, but I must call out religion for its constant attempts to separate individuals from finding their own tools to commune with their source/guides/higher power. Tarot is one such tool, and highly effective. There is nothing wrong with it. It isn't evil, or tainted, or "witchcraft" (weaponized words are ugly), it is simply another approach to gaining insight that can trigger analysis from new perspectives and help to provide needed clarity and direction. Religion can encourage closed-minded dogma that stagnates and stifles. There is a reason some sects demonize the tarot; it is a direct threat to their spiritual control. It is time more people woke up to their own inner power and that of the wonderful world all around them, breaking free of the spiritual chains placed upon them by fear-driven systems.

This leads into the third aspect, holistic business consulting. Art and tarot may both be creative and intuitive, but business isn't, right? Business is all about numbers, bottom lines, strategies, logistics, management, processes, proven systems, success, money, etc. All practical, down to earth, left-brained concerns. Who needs metaphysics, spirituality and vague psychological fluff in the hard, fast-paced world of business? Well, I would argue, ALL OF US!

Let me briefly expound. Basically, it is the opinion of myself, and of our business, that too many cold, hard, rational, intelligent people have been making too many cold, hard, rational, intelligent decisions for too long. Decisions made without a compliment of wisdom, intuition, soul and purpose. Money has been the primary and penultimate driver of capitalistic endeavors since the dawn of our modern societies and it isn't sustainable (more clearly every year as we suffer the direct consequences of our follies). Not only that, the more subtle considerations of emotions, mental health, and psycho-spirituality have been left by the wayside. No weight at all has been given to nature, or our impacts in business on the interconnected system we all live on and require to survive - Earth.
